Coming Soon: Our New Location

The Lahr Atrium

Greetings to The Gathering family,

By now, you may have heard that after several years of challenges with our landlord, those issues came to a head this past week. We were informed that we will be leaving the Tippecanoe County Historical Association (TCHA) within the next month. While this news was disappointing, it wasn’t entirely unexpected. Over the years, we’ve known that TCHA was not an ideal long-term home for The Gathering. In fact, for the better part of a year, we’ve been actively searching for another location. As many of you know, finding a space that fits our unique needs–a welcoming place available for just a few hours each Sunday–is not an easy task.

Then something remarkable happened.

In the very same week that we learned we would be leaving TCHA, Mary Buckley, owner of Bistro 501, graciously offered us the opportunity to meet in the atrium of the Lahr Hotel! After visiting the space, we were immediately impressed. It is open, bright, beautiful, and welcoming–an ideal setting for our worship and fellowship. Even more exciting, we’ll be able to begin meeting there within just a few weeks. We truly see this as nothing short of God’s provision.

As we prepare for the move, there will be plenty to do. One especially exciting benefit is for our music team. At the new location, they’ll be able to leave much of their equipment on-site during the week, eliminating the need to transport and set it up every Sunday. That’s a tremendous blessing and a real game changer.

We cannot adequately express our gratitude to dear Mary Buckley and the entire Bistro 501 team for their generosity and hospitality. We look forward to being wonderful tenants and to supporting both The Gathering and Mary’s business in every way we can.

We’ll share more details as they become available. In the meantime, join us this Sunday at TCHA, where we’ll provide an update and answer your questions.

Thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, and your faithful support of The Gathering. We are excited to see where God us leading us next.

“The Lord will provide.”

Grace and peace,

Dr. Will
